Commissioning Process

Commissioning is usually a simple process.

Typically I will start the process with a site visit, in order to discuss what art might be commissioned and to develop some broad specifications. Typically the site visit will include:

1. Looking at potential sites for paintings

2. Talking to the team members who use the space.

3. Assessing lighting conditions and colour scheme.

4. Discussing compositions and dimensions

5. Discussing delivery times and schedules

Following a decision to commission a piece, I create a broad specification, supplemented by images. References are available if required.

On acceptance of the specifications I can start creating the paintings.

As the paintings enter the final stages, I can email images to you. This allows for possible changes and also gives an idea about what will be delivered.

I am often present at delivery and if hanging is carried out immediately, can assist in the positioning of the painting.
